Speakers & Schedule
This year at Laois Jobs Fair, we have an excellent list of speakers who will explore a variety of topics throughout the day. The presentations are totally free of charge and open to everyone how wants to assist. The first presentation is by Laois-based life and career coach Claire Kelly, whose talk is encouragingly titled ‘Finding your Career Bliss with Clarity, Confidence and Courage’. We’ll have also a life and career coach, a clinical exercise physiologist and a HR and employment expert among many more speakers who will give valuable advice at the event, which will run from noon to 7pm.

Meet The Speakers
Claire Kelly
Claire Kelly is a Life, Career & Business Coach and works with individual and business clients. Following a successful career in marketing, management and senior leadership, Claire made her own career change into the world of Coaching where she has found fulfilment, work-life balance and enjoys helping others to do the same.
Over the last number of years, Claire has helped hundreds of people to make their own transitions, supporting clarity, direction, progression and confidence. When it comes to our careers, Claire believes in the importance of exploring life and career simultaneously as they tend to be intertwined – when we face challenges in our career, it often ripples out into our wider life and vice versa. Being able to look at it from a holistic view allows a person to be clear and focused on areas to develop and create positive, sustainable change in their lives overall.
Claire is a member of the Association for Coaching, and has a B.Sc. in Marketing and Management, Diploma in Effective Leadership and Management, Diploma in Transformational Life Coaching and Diploma in Advanced Career Coaching. She is also trained in Mindfulness and the Science of Wellbeing.

Dr Diane Cooper
Dr Diane Cooper is a clinical exercise physiologist and health researcher and the founder and CEO of EduFIT, an online health education and functional fitness company based in Laois. In previous years in business Diane was awarded a place on Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers Phase II and Phase III programmes and was a finalist in Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur 2019. Diane has a 20-year careers in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based physical activity and health interventions funded by Healthy Ireland, Sport Ireland, Sláintecare, Pobal, Laois Sports Partnership, and the HSE. For 10-years during that time period Diane was also a lecturer, researcher and the course coordinator of the BSc Sports Science with Exercise Physiology in TUS (previously AIT), which included supervising masters and PhD students, sitting on the research ethics board, and droving the development and accreditation of other related degree programmes.
Diane is currently a researcher with the European Space Agency investigating the physiological effects of physical inactivity and sedentary behaviour on health. She conducts other menopause and health related research in EduFIT. More recently, Diane is the host of The Health and Fitness Show on Midlands 103. In her spare time, Diane takes part in adventure racing, running, and resistance training. Diane’s history of ultra-endurance events includes kayaking around Ireland in 2014 to raise money for Laois and Offaly (kayaking 15 hours/day for 42 days, unsupported) and cycling around Ireland in 2015 for charity (cycling 15 hours/day for 7 days). Over the years, Diane and John Bolton raised over €100,000 for charity. Diane’s passion is to make it as easy as possible for people to be as fit and healthy as possible. Diane has a special and personal interest in entrepreneur health and wellbeing.

Sinéad Grehan
Sinéad Grehan is a HR and employment expert who held various senior HR roles across a range of businesses prior to establishing her independent HR Consultancy, Iridium HR, in 2018. The business supports a multitude of employers and organisations to successfully manage and implement both compliant and best practice people solutions.
Sinéad holds a Business Degree (with HR specialism) from DCU, membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development in addition to a Certificate, Diploma and Masters in Employment Law (Law Society of Ireland). She has a keen interest in ongoing professional development, which is vital in today’s ever evolving employment and labour market.
Throughout her career to date, Sinéad has been involved in countless recruitment projects and conducted 100’s of interviews. Consequently, she knows and understands how a candidate’s CV can stand out from the crowd. In addition, Sinéad has experience of coaching candidates to ensure that they put their best selves forward during the interview process, thereby increasing their chances of success.
Enthusiastic, collaborative and passionate, Sinéad always strives to add value and to make a difference to her clients and those who she works with.
